1. Introduction
LeadCrest is a marketing and business-growth company based in Oshawa, Ontario. Privacy matters to us because effective business relationships depend on trust, transparency, and responsible handling of information.
This Privacy Policy describes LeadCrest's practices concerning personal information in connection with leadcrest.ca, website inquiries, consultations, client and prospective-client communications, and related online or offline business interactions. LeadCrest handles personal information in accordance with applicable Canadian privacy laws, including the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) where applicable.
2. Scope of This Policy
This policy applies to website visitors, individuals submitting inquiries, prospective and existing clients, business representatives, and people who communicate with LeadCrest through available digital or business channels. It covers personal information under LeadCrest's control, whether received through the website, email, telephone, a consultation, or another legitimate business interaction.
It does not govern independent websites, social networks, applications, or services operated by other organizations. Those organizations are responsible for their own privacy practices.
3. About LeadCrest
LeadCrest provides marketing, lead-generation, digital-presence, inquiry-management, automation, and business-growth services. LeadCrest is accountable for personal information under its control and receives privacy questions and requests through the contact information at the end of this policy.
4. What Personal Information We Collect
Personal information generally means information about an identifiable individual. Depending on how a person interacts with LeadCrest, this may include identification and contact information, business-related details connected to an individual, inquiry content, correspondence, and technical information associated with a website request.
LeadCrest limits collection to information reasonably needed for identified and appropriate purposes. We do not ask through the current website for payment-card details, government identification numbers, account passwords, health information, or other similarly sensitive categories.
5. Information You Provide Directly
The current inquiry form can receive your name, business name, email address, telephone number, selected service, and message. Required fields are name, email address, and message; the remaining fields are optional.
You may also voluntarily provide your role or title, business website, industry, business location, marketing needs, business objectives, consultation details, or other information in correspondence. Please avoid including sensitive personal information that is not necessary for your inquiry.
6. Information Collected Automatically
The website's hosting and network infrastructure may process standard technical request information needed to deliver and protect the site, such as an IP address, browser or device information, requested page, referring address, timestamp, and diagnostic or security information. The website code does not establish a specific hosting provider, log-retention period, or use of these records for behavioural advertising.
The site loads typefaces from Google Fonts. When a browser requests those font resources, Google receives the standard technical information needed to respond to that request. Google's handling of that information is governed by its own privacy terms.
8. How We Use Personal Information
LeadCrest may use personal information to:
- respond to inquiries and communicate with prospective or existing clients;
- understand business needs, arrange consultations, and prepare relevant recommendations;
- provide and administer marketing, lead-generation, digital, and growth services;
- follow up on requested information and maintain business relationships;
- operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the usability of the website and services;
- maintain appropriate business, contractual, accounting, and communication records;
- prevent fraud, misuse, security threats, or unlawful activity;
- comply with legal obligations and establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.
9. Legal and Business Purposes
LeadCrest identifies purposes before or at the time personal information is collected and limits collection, use, and disclosure to purposes that a reasonable person would consider appropriate in the circumstances. If LeadCrest seeks to use information for a materially new purpose, it will identify that purpose and obtain additional consent where required.
10. Consent
Where consent is required, LeadCrest seeks meaningful consent appropriate to the sensitivity of the information, the circumstances, reasonable expectations, and the stated purpose. Consent may be express or implied where permitted by law.
Consent is meaningful only when a person can reasonably understand what information is involved, why it is being handled, with whom it may be shared, and the reasonably foreseeable consequences. Consent does not displace LeadCrest's duties to use appropriate purposes, limit collection, safeguard information, and remain accountable.
11. Marketing Communications
An ordinary inquiry authorizes LeadCrest to respond to that inquiry; it is not treated as unlimited consent to receive unrelated promotional messages. If LeadCrest sends commercial electronic messages, it will do so in accordance with applicable requirements, including Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL) where applicable.
Promotional messages will provide the required sender information and a practical way to unsubscribe. LeadCrest will action valid unsubscribe requests within the period required by law and will not charge for opting out. Service, transactional, or inquiry-response communications may still be sent where permitted and necessary.
12. Lead Generation and Business Inquiries
LeadCrest's services can include identifying relevant businesses and organizing business prospect information from direct interactions, referrals, client-provided information, and legitimate publicly available business sources. Business information may still be personal information when it identifies an individual, such as a sole proprietor or named business representative.
LeadCrest distinguishes information voluntarily submitted directly to LeadCrest from information used for lawful business-development or client-service activities. Contact-form submission does not authorize unrestricted marketing, resale, or distribution. Business outreach must remain relevant to the recipient's business role and comply with applicable privacy and anti-spam requirements.
13. Contact and Inquiry Forms
The current form validates the fields in your browser and, when no form endpoint is configured, opens your email application with the inquiry prepared for you. LeadCrest receives the inquiry only if you complete the send action through your email service. Your email provider and LeadCrest's email provider will process the message according to their own services and privacy terms.
The current website does not claim that pressing the form button alone delivers or stores the message on a LeadCrest web server.
14. Information About Business Representatives
LeadCrest may receive business contact details for owners, employees, contractors, and other representatives, including names, professional contact information, titles, organizations, and business responsibilities. LeadCrest uses this information for relevant business communications, service delivery, relationship management, and lawful business development.
16. Third-Party Websites and Services
The website may link to websites or services operated independently by other organizations. LeadCrest does not control those organizations' collection, use, disclosure, security, or retention practices. Review the applicable third party's privacy information before providing personal information.
17. Service Providers
LeadCrest may use service providers where reasonably necessary for website hosting, email, cloud infrastructure, communications, security, technical support, business administration, or professional advice. The current website specifically uses Google Fonts and relies on email services when a visitor sends an inquiry.
Service providers may process personal information only for defined business purposes, subject to applicable contractual arrangements, safeguards, and law. LeadCrest remains accountable for personal information under its control, including information transferred to a service provider for processing.
18. Disclosure of Personal Information
LeadCrest may disclose personal information to authorized service providers and professional advisers; to a client where necessary to perform an agreed service and lawful to do so; to legal, regulatory, law-enforcement, or government authorities where required or permitted; in connection with a business transaction; or where reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety, systems, or the public.
LeadCrest does not treat contact-form information as freely distributable data. Disclosure is limited to appropriate purposes, consent, contractual requirements, and applicable law.
19. Sale or Transfer of Business
LeadCrest does not sell inquiry information to data brokers for their independent use. This does not prevent LeadCrest from providing agreed lead-generation deliverables to clients using lawful business information, or from transferring records as part of a proposed or completed financing, merger, reorganization, sale, or transfer of all or part of the business, subject to appropriate confidentiality and legal requirements.
20. Cross-Border Processing
Online infrastructure and service providers may process or store information outside Ontario or Canada. For example, website-resource and email providers may operate systems in multiple jurisdictions. Information processed elsewhere may be subject to the laws and lawful access requirements of those jurisdictions.
LeadCrest does not represent that all information remains exclusively in Canada. Where personal information is transferred to a service provider, LeadCrest uses measures appropriate to the sensitivity, purpose, and circumstances.
21. Data Retention
LeadCrest retains personal information only as long as reasonably necessary for the identified purposes and applicable business, contractual, accounting, dispute-resolution, security, fraud-prevention, and legal requirements. Retention may vary by record and relationship; LeadCrest does not state a universal fixed retention period.
When information is no longer required, LeadCrest will securely destroy, delete, or anonymize it as appropriate and technically feasible, subject to lawful backup, archival, and recordkeeping requirements.
22. Data Accuracy
LeadCrest takes reasonable steps to keep personal information as accurate, complete, and current as necessary for the purposes for which it is used. You may request correction of information you believe is inaccurate or incomplete.
23. Security Safeguards
LeadCrest uses reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity, amount, format, purpose, and circumstances of personal information. These may include access restrictions, authentication, secure hosting and encrypted transmission where available, software updates, service-provider controls, backups, and administrative procedures.
No method of Internet transmission, email delivery, or electronic storage can guarantee absolute security. LeadCrest does not promise that information is immune from every loss, misuse, unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction.
24. Privacy and Security Incidents
LeadCrest will investigate suspected privacy and security incidents and take reasonable containment, assessment, remediation, documentation, and notification steps in accordance with applicable requirements. Where required, LeadCrest will notify affected individuals and the appropriate regulator and will maintain required breach records.
25. Your Privacy Rights
Subject to applicable law and exceptions, you may ask whether LeadCrest holds personal information about you, request access, request correction, challenge accuracy or completeness, withdraw consent where applicable, ask questions about processing, or raise a concern about LeadCrest's practices.
LeadCrest may need to verify identity before responding and may request enough information to locate the relevant records. Access may be limited where permitted or required by law, including to protect another person's privacy, confidential commercial information, legal privilege, or an investigation.
26. Access and Correction
Send an access or correction request using the privacy contact information below. Describe the information or interaction involved and the correction requested. LeadCrest will respond within the period required by applicable law or explain any lawful extension, refusal, or limitation.
27. Withdrawal of Consent and Marketing Opt-Out
You may withdraw consent at any time, subject to applicable legal or contractual restrictions and reasonable notice. LeadCrest will explain relevant consequences, which may include an inability to provide a requested service where the information is necessary.
To stop promotional communications, use the unsubscribe mechanism in the message or contact LeadCrest. An opt-out does not prevent responses to an active inquiry, essential service messages, or communications otherwise permitted or required by law.
28. Children's Privacy
LeadCrest provides business-to-business marketing and growth services. The website and services are not directed toward children, and LeadCrest does not knowingly design the service to collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided information, contact LeadCrest so the circumstances can be reviewed and appropriate action taken.
29. Do Not Track and Browser Controls
Some browsers offer a “Do Not Track” preference. Because the current website does not use client-side behavioural analytics or advertising trackers, it does not implement a separate response to that signal. You can still use browser privacy controls, content blocking, and cookie settings to manage your browsing environment.
30. Changes to This Privacy Policy
LeadCrest may update this policy as business practices, technologies, services, or legal requirements evolve. The “Last Updated” date will identify the current version. Material changes may require additional notice or consent where applicable.
31. Questions, Complaints and Privacy Requests
Contact LeadCrest first with a privacy question or complaint so it can be reviewed and addressed. LeadCrest will acknowledge and investigate concerns, communicate the outcome, and correct practices or records where appropriate.
If a concern is not resolved, you may contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada or another regulator with jurisdiction. Nothing in this policy limits rights or remedies available under applicable law.

The current homepage displays non-functional social-media placeholders. They do not link to, embed, or transmit information to a social platform.
